The Pathways to Leadership program provides you with workshops and retreat to help develop and refine leadership skills, networking and community-building, and information to how to get involved on-campus and off-campus. You can either drop-in and attend one of the weekly workshops or quarterly retreats, or enroll in one of the Introductory or Advanced programs for CCR credit. You choose your own adventure! Week 2: Social Change Model: From Me to We

Building Leadership Skills is not just about boosting a résumé, but a means to impact the world around us. The Social Change Model incorporates Group, Societal, and Individual Values in a purposeful and collaborative process. This session can broaden your perspective of Leadership and move one towards being a driving force for positive change.

Being a part of a group can bring a sense of community and togetherness, but sometimes even the strongest teams face some form of conflict and challenges. Join us as we talk about how to proactively mitigate conflict in groups and manage it when it does occur. Through interactive activities, learn more about your personal conflict management style and how to use tools like Restorative Justice practices.
Week 5: Everything I Learned about Leadership, I Learned through Comic Books

Before there was the MCU, Assistant Dean Mario fell in love with all things comic books after watching an animated X-men series. And through comic books, TV shows, and movies, he was first introduced to concepts around leadership, teamwork, and EDI. Whether you are an avid comic book fan or not, join us for a fun session on leadership through the lens of comics and superheroes!
