We are excited to help you become acclimated to Muir College at UC San Diego and answer many of your questions. To aid you in your transition, we have worked closely with our partners within the College to provide you with the following webinars that will help get you ready to join our community.
We look forward to getting to know you and welcoming you to the Muir community.
Summer Zoom Session for New Students
Please use COR in order to register for one of the following Part One Orientation Sessions. A follow up email will be sent to students via their UC San Diego email address with information, including the zoom links, for all virtual zoom spaces.
Part One Orientation: The goal for the Part One Orientation is for students to begin their connections before they arrive on campus. This is an opportunity to engage with other Muir students and staff ,connect with Muir Academic Advising prepare for courses and engage with Muir College Reslife. Students should plan to come and connect with their community and learn more ways to be involved.
Please Register via Google Forms by July 26th.
Monday August 5th, 2024 9am-11:30am- Incoming First Year Students
Wednesday August 7th, 2024 1pm-3:30pm- Incoming First Year Students
Monday August 12th, 2024 6pm-8:30pm - Incoming Transfer Students

Yes! All virtual sessions listed on this page as part one are required to attend as many as you are able to continue to get to know the Muir community before your arrival for your in-person orientation session.
