May 2026

June 2026

• June 22 - New Triton Advising (NTA) site for First-Years opens.
• June 22- College Orientation Registration (COR) site for First-Years opens.
• June 29- Deadline for signed housing contract and pre-payment.
• PLEASE NOTE: Please refer to the UC San Diego Housing•Dining•Hospitality website for more information regarding on-campus housing.

July 2026

• July 1- First Year Admitted Students that accept the offer of admission are required to submit final official transcripts directly from each institution they attended from grades 9 through 12 by the July 1st postmark deadline.
• July 1- Academic Background due in New Triton Advising
• July 1, 2026-Optional opportunity to apply for a Living Learning Community or Gender Inclusive Housing: 
  • Must have the signed housing contract by the deadline listed above.
  • More information on our Living Learning Communities or Gender Inclusive Housing can be found here
• July 1- Deadline to register for the New Student Orientation program. You may incur a $25 fee for registering or making changes to your registration after this date.

August 2026

• August 1 - Deadline to submit photo online for UC San Diego Student ID card. For detailed information on how to submit your photo, visit the Campus Card website. Your ID card will be ready for pick up when you arrive on campus in the fall
• August 5th -Part 1 1:30pm-3:30pm New Student Orientation and Academic Advising Virtual Webinars -First Years
• August 7th- Part 1 9am-11am New Student Orientation and Academic Advising Virtual Webinars -First Years
• Mid August - Part 2 Muir College Canvas Course Available to students 

September 2026

• September 16-22 - Part 3 New Student Orientation In-Person Sessions. You must register and attend one of the sessions. 
• September 16-26 - Welcome Week activities occur in Muir College as well as additional campus wide events with TWOW.
• September -New Student Convocation. Visit the Triton Weeks of Welcome website for more information.
• September 24- First day of classes! Yes, it is a Thursday!

• June 7- apply for Housing in the Enrollment Checklist 
• June 16- Housing contract information will be emailed to your UC San Diego email address
