Meet the G House HAs!

Darin Lim-Yankowitz

Darin, the oldest resident on campus, was born to a family of traveling trapeze artists. There began his fascination with gymnastics, weight lifting, and other bodyweight feats requiring both strength and balance. Though the circus-folk treated him well, at the tender age of twelve Darin decided it was time to set out on his own to explore the world. After traveling much of the United States, working alternately as an actor, elephant-tamer, and political activist, Darin found himself at John Muir College at UCSD, where he concentrates in philosophy and environmental studies. In between bouts of tree-hugging and scratching his chin thoughtfully, Darin enjoys spending time in the wilderness, meeting new people, and writing little bits of fiction.

Jen Allen

Jen is petite…as you can see. G-house rocks her socks! She is very excited to be in G-house and partake in outdoor activities in which she can appreciate the environment that so many take for granted. Jen loves the beach and water sports in general. In addition to playing outdoors, she likes to play guitar. She is a senior majoring in Human Development with a minor in Management Science. Overall, people say that Jen is down-to-earth, friendly, and always smiling. Yayyy G-house!
