Meet the B House HAs!

Sarah Serna

Hi I’m Sarah and I am in love with being a House Advisor!!! I’m a third year Sociology major with a minor in Education and I hope to become an Elementary school teacher. Volunteering, mentoring young children in the community, and taking care of the environment are my passions. I love to munch on pizza and ice cream at all hours and watch the seals at La Jolla Cove late at night!!! Friends and family (and I can’t forget my dog) are the most important aspects of my life and I can never turn away a chance to hang out with them!

Mike Shih

Hi I’m Mike! I was born and raised in San Jose, California. A couple of my interests include running (which might explain why I’m painfully holding my foot), Hip Hop, and grooming my Mohawk. I am half Chinese and half Taiwanese and I am too young for my age. I speak English, Chinese, and some Spanish. Since I was a child I have had this strange fantasy of dropping all my possessions and social connections and suddenly disappearing to travel to the all of the ends of the Earth. At times I find the idea frightening but can you imagine the excitement? For now I’m focusing on just studying abroad, preferably in a South American country.

I love a formidable challenge so naturally I enjoy camping, hiking, long distance cycling, and women.
And I guess you could say I admire the child within.
